What books are you reading?

What books are you reading right now? Currently I'm reading Marianne Williamson's A Return to Love. I read it many years ago when it first came on the scene. I thought I would revisit it again now that the new year is arriving. I think it will have more of an impact now that I'm older and I hope wiser. What are you reading right now? Any good recommendations?

Working my plan

With the new year fast approaching, I'm planning my work and working my plan. I have a lot of things on my agenda for 2010. I'm spending this entire week reviewing and updating my goals for the new decade. I'm not necessarily making a list of resolutions. My motivation is beyond that now. I've come to a point in my life where I need to make big changes within myself in order to live the life I was meant to live. I spent the last decade taking care of other people and putting their needs before mine. It's time for me to really take stock of my situation, devise a master plan and follow through.....more to come later.

Christmas 2009

Christmas has come and gone. I had a really nice holiday season this year. Anything would be a vast improvement over last year. I was laid off from my job September of 2008. I was unable to find anything for a while due to the failing economy. But that was then, this is now. I have a wonderful new career, a new set of friends and renewed energy. I herald in the season with good food, friends, family and drinks. Christmas day was spent with my family. We ate dinner at my brother and sister-in-laws home. Everything was delicious. My sister- in- law is a great cook. I'm now looking forward to the New Year and new decade.
